A clay Ganesh idol making workshop was held at GGIS Atha, Bavdhan for our little sculptors and their parents. While the little tots had a grand time making idols, playing with the clay and making a mess they also learnt the importance of using Ganesh idols made from clay rather than plaster of paris during Ganeshotsav. At GGIS Atha we want our children to learn at a very early stage the need for taking care of the environment but we believe that lessons are better understood and remembered when the children are participating in them and having fun at the same time.
All in all it was an extremely enjoyable experience where children and parents alike learnt the importance of using clay Ganesh idols along with learning how to make them.
