GG International School celebrated Gandhi Jayanti also known as International Non-Violence Day with a lot of enthusiasm and fervor.

The day began on a solemn note with the students, staff and Chief Guest Mrs. Geeta Goel, Guest of Honour – Mr. Suresh Shivthere and Mrs. Geeta Pillai, Chief Mentor, Principal and Vice-Principal paying obeisance to the father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi by garlanding the Gandhi bust. It was a delight for everybody to listen to the students of Pre Primary singing “Hey Ram” during the lighting of the lamp. Later the guests were felicitated with Tulsi saplings, by the Chief Mentor and Principal of the school. The Guest of Honour, Mr. Suresh Shivthere commented that the celebration made him feel the presence of each and every element that defines our nation within GGIS on this blessed occasion. The program was concluded on a humble note by Vice Principal, Ms. Seetha R, where she thanked each and everyone for their support and guidance. A Blood Donation Camp was also set up inside the premises of the school to create awareness and sensitize the staff and students on the importance of blood donation.
