Quality Policy and
Certifications

|
We at Goel Ganga Group (Housing)
strive to give our customer "Value for Money" with timely
possession, ensuring best Quality of construction and services
through continual improvement of Quality Management Systems.
|
| Technology at GGG |
|
Quality at any cost, is the maxim on
which the Goel Ganga Group operates. Bearing testimony to this are
the various construction practices, religiously followed on all
project sites and / or offices.

| Field Test of incoming material |
|
The company's Procedure Manual and
Works Instruction Manual contains a checklist and acceptance
criteria for all incoming materials on site. The concerned engineer
and storekeeper refers to the related checklist during 'field tests'
of all incoming materials on site. Materials satisfying 'standard
acceptance criteria' are accepted.
|
| Laboratory on site |
| All sites have laboratories for material testing, where tests like "Sieve Analysis", "Cube Testing", "Silt Content" and “Moisture Content" are regularly carried out. |
| In-Process Quality Checks |
|
The company's Work Instructions Manual
contains a checklist for all major activities, which are converted
in the form of "Company's Diary" and "Flow Chart". They serve as
quick reference lists for Site Engineers at the time of work
execution. The work instruction diary covers checklists for 41 major
activities and 26 major field tests required to be carried out
during construction.
All major activities on sites are duly checked for quality norms and certified by consultants as well as company's technical cell before final execution. The company adopts the 'DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME EVERY TIME' approach, rather than going about correcting mistakes. This is made possible by providing regular training and by keeping them abreast of latest practices, methods and technology. |
| Technology Upgradation |
|
The company believes that quality
comes at no extra cost. Technology up gradation is a standard
feature of the company, as this enables it to execute value
engineering and share its benefits with customers, by offering them
better product specifications and services.

| Few of the latest construction techniques implemented at our sites |

Use of 'water dispensers' for all
concrete work helps to precisely control the amount of water being
added to every batch of concrete work undertaken. This ensures that
the water / cement ratio is maintained as specified in the 'design
mix' ensuring consistent strength in all parts of the structure.
All concrete work even in vertical members like columns and lifts are 'Weigh Batched", "Machine Mixed" and "Mechanically Vibrated" as per the norms of IS 456-2000. To increase the durability and imperviousness of concrete, regular use of pozzolanas like "Fly Ash" (i.e. pozzocrete) is done. Admixtures / super plasticizers are used to reduce water demand of concrete and to control water/cement ratio without affecting the workability of concrete. The project sites are scrutinized by third party construction Quality Auditors. These audits also include non-destructive testing (i.e. hammer test / ultrasonic pulse velocity), laser beam tests for line/level etc. Pressure testing for our concealed plumbing works is done in-house. For pressures of 7.5 kg/cm@, a plumbing consultant is called in. Aquaron 2000/631 chemical waterproofing is used alongwith conventional Brick Bat Water proofing as extra protection against leakages. |
| Information Technology Set Up |
|
For efficient management of
large-scale township projects and to ensure cost and process
control, the company has been implementing a "High Rise ERP Package"
for the past 4 years. A centralized database is maintained on a
state-of-the-art H.P. Server with SQL server as backend. Around 30
nodes in different departments access the server and maintain
records in the centralized database.
The ERP package has modules for all functional departments like engineering, site, purchase, contracting, accounts, marketing, sales and recovery. All these nodes and servers are interconnected to each other by hubs, switches and router. This enhances speed of data communication between various departments and significantly improves organizational performance. |
